Thursday, February 16
- 10:00-12:00: Lisa Chan will showcase support spindle spinning. Learn about posture, plying and everything in between. Lisa will bring DIY kits for making spindles.
- 10:00-12:00: Ilisha Helfman will demonstrate I-cord JazzKnitting. Use JazzKnitting techniques with I-cord to create gorgeous knotted necklaces.
- 10:00-5:00: Learn to Weave Come over to the warped side and learn about weaving while making your own colorful mug rug to take home.

- 2:00-5:00: Linda Gettman presents a demonstration of Kumihimo braiding. Stop by and try out this art form widely used historically by Samurai warriors.
Friday, February 17
- 10:00-3:00: Betsy Hershberg will celebrate the publication of Betsy Beads with a hands-on look at her fabulous knitted jewelry and techniques. Try them out with her.
- 10:00-2:00: Kari Elliott will demonstrate speedy sock knitting using a sock knitting machine. Come learn about these wonderful machines.
- 10:00-5:00: Learn to Weave Come over to the warped side and learn about weaving while making your own colorful mug rug to take home.
- 1:30-5:00: Sarah Anderson will hold a spinning clinic. Learn to spin, try a new technique or practice on one of Sarah’s wonderful wheels.
- 1:30-5:00: Brian Kohler brings his Great Wheel to Madrona. See Brian spin on this interesting wheel and try your own hand at long draw spinning on a walking wheel.
- 2:00-3:00: Sarah Anderson will demonstrate spinning cotton “off the seed” or directly from the boll.
- 5:00-6:00: BOOK SIGNING by our teacher-authors. See the list of teachers who will be signing today on the sign in the Rotunda and in your Registration Packet
Saturday, February 18

- 9:00-5:00: Daniel Herrera will answer all your knitting questions and help with any dilemmas on your needles. Not a knitter yet? Daniel will walk you through it.
- 10:00-11:00: Sarah Anderson will show you how to blend exotic short fibers by making punis. Learn how to make and spin this rolag of tightly rolled fiber.
- 10:00-3:00: Margaret Radcliffe will entice you with a whirlwind of circular knitting techniques from her new book Circular Knitting Workshop.
- 10:00-5:00: Learn to Weave Come over to the warped side and learn about weaving while making your own colorful mug rug to take home.
- 12:15-1:15: Visit with Gwen Steege, author of The Knitter’s Life List , checklists for all the varied and fascinating things there are to explore in the world of knitting.
- 2:00-5:00: Amelia Garripoli will demonstrate spindle spinning. Bring questions about spindle types, which spindle to use for which fiber, and learn to ply on the spindle.
- 3:00-5:00:Andrea Wong will demonstrate the Portuguese Knitting techniques using the knitting pin to hold the working yarn for even tension.

Sunday, February 19
- 9:00-11:00: Amelia Garripoli will demonstrate spinning on three different Charka wheels used for cotton and other short staple length fibers. Try out the techniques with her.
- 9:00-12:00: Deborah Robson will hold a Fiber Clinic. Mystified by a fiber? Want to know the best spinning techniques for something particular? Deb is here with advice.
- 9:00-2:00: Sarah Anderson will hold a spinning clinic. Learn to spin, try a new technique or practice on one of Sarah’s wonderful wheels.
- 9:00-2:00: Daniel Herrera will answer all your knitting questions and help with any dilemmas on your needles. Not a knitter yet? Daniel will walk you through it.
- 9:00-2:00: Amy Detjen will hold a Stranded Knitting Clinic. Start a project, look at designs, review techniques, and solve problems with your stranded knitting project.
- 9:30-10:00: Sarah Anderson will demonstrate spinning cotton “off the seed” or directly from the boll.
- 10:00-12:00: Gayle Roehm holds a Japanese Knitting Clinic. Having trouble with a design, pattern interpretation or a stitch pattern chart? Gayle will help you through it.
