2009 WINTER RETREAT EXTRAS!

IT’S OUR 10TH WINTER RETREAT AND WE ARE FULL OF SURPRISES – THE MADRONA SOCK! To celebrate, we commissioned sock yarn hand painted in the Madrona Logo colors and a special sock pattern to show it off. This special limited edition will ONLY be available during the four days of the Winter Retreat and ONLY as a premium gift in connection with donations to the 4 charity groups that Madrona is sponsoring (Caring for Kids, Doctors without Borders, Heifer International, and Shetland Isle Textile Museum). Madrona has fully paid for the premium gifts so 100% of donations go directly to the charity groups. We'll have $5 raffle tickets for the premium gift packets with a 1 in about 35 chances to win or any $50 donation or multiple of $50, gets a premium gift packet (checks only -- written directly to one or more of the 4 Charities). We have plenty...but if we run out we will take your donation and see that you get your Madrona Sock Gift Premium following the retreat -- only available during to the 4 days of the retreat at the Retreat Registration Check-in table.  We'll have samples for you to see and more information on each of the Charity groups.

We are grateful to Caryn Ackerman (carynsknitandspin.com), Leslie Verts (vertscreation.com) and Jill Laski of Ashland Bay Trading Company (ashlandbay.com) for helping us make this project a reality!
